FAQ
Do I need a formal diagnosis of ADHD or autism to work with you?
No formal diagnosis is required to work with me. My client base includes both diagnosed and self-identified neurodivergent individuals, as well as those who are exploring the idea of acquiring a diagnosis. Whether you’re seeking clarity, self-understanding, or support that fits how your brain works, you’re welcome here.
My coaching complements — but doesn’t seek to replace — medical or clinical care.
For 1:1 coaching, what’s the difference between you and my therapist?
Therapists provide essential emotional and mental health support — so please, keep your therapist!
My coaching focuses more on practical strategies and neurodiversity-affirming education that empowers neurodivergent individuals to better navigate daily life. We’ll explore patterns, routines, and tools that help your nervous system function more harmoniously throughout your day.
While we may touch on challenges or frustrations, my main aim is to provide specialized guidance, encouragement, and up-to-date resources to help you reframe those struggles and enhance your overall wellbeing.
Do you work with kids?
No, I work only with adults so my clients must be 18+.
However, I do offer tailored coaching and education for parents seeking to support their neurodivergent children.  On a related note, many parents discover their own neurodivergent traits along the way to helping their children!
Do you accept insurance?
No, unfortunately my services are not covered by insurance.
My work is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment, but it can be a powerful complement to those supports, offering practical, personalized guidance and education rooted in lived experience and current research.
